SCEA Announcement

It is with regret that I am announcing that Stewart Buettell will be leaving his position as the Vice President of the Shasta County Employee Association. Stewart has been promoted to a management position with Shasta County and will no longer be eligible to participate in SCEA activities. 

We wish him well in his new endeavor and want to thank him for all the time and effort he has given to this position. One of Stewart’s most notable accomplishments was the development of the new SCEA website which will allow members to explore the benefits of union membership and provide timely updates of ongoing negotiations and issues that are pertinent to them.  

We are currently accepting nominations for Stewart’s position and we encourage you to consider becoming a board member.
